Local Peering
UNET has entered into local, high speed peering arrangements with the
MaineXchange Point in an effort to reduce the round-trip
latency to Internet resources provided by the University System, K-12 schools,
public libraries, and State Government. Members of the MaineXchange point include
Great Works Internet, Road Runner of Maine, and Oxford Networks. We hope to peer with additional ISPs in Maine in the near
